The Evil Dead return
Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell are all teaming up again to remake their cult hit The Evil Dead. Campbell starred as Ash in the original film, which centered on a group of 20-somethings who go for a weekend in the woods. While there, they discover a strange book and an accompanying tape. When played, the tape unleashes numerous forces of evil, causing almost all of the people in the house to be affected…strangely. The film spawned two sequels, The Evil Dead 2 and
Army of Darkness. Raimi is not planning to direct the film, so the group is in search of a helmer.
