Ashmore is Needled
Shawn Ashmore (Iceman in X2: X-Men United) has signed on to star in 3 Needles for writer-director Thom Fitzgerald. The film will feature three different segments about the AIDS epidemic, with one set in South Africa, one in China and one in North America. Ashmore will play a porn actor who passes his monthly blood test by stealing samples from his elderly father. Already onboard to star are Lucy Liu, Sandra Oh, Sarah Polley and Olympia Dukakis.
