Levant gets Lucky
Revolution Studios has set director Brian Levant to helm the Cedric the Entertainer comedy Mr. Lucky. Cedric will play Malcolm Crowley, a former Vegas entertainer who went broke and is now living happily at a spiritual retreat in the Tibetan Himalayas. Suddenly, he's mistaken for a multi-millionaire, taken away to the brand new Everest Casino in Vegas, and awarded a $2 million credit line. By the time the casino recognizes it has made a mistake, Crowley has won $15 million.
