Baldwin goes to the Street
Alec Baldwin is in talks to star as the coach in MGM's basketball film Street, which is being directed by Michael Shapiro. The movie will follow a group of street basketball players who are recruited to play for an NBA team whose owner has slashed player salaries. The screenplay was written by Matt O'Neil and Chris Parker. Baldwin has also just joined the cast of Fun With Dick and Jane, in which he'll co-star with Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni.
