Russell is coming
Martin Brown, producer of Moulin Rouge, is teaming with Matador Pictures on the family adventure Russell, a story about an Australian poacher who is trapped in the body of a Koala and shipped off to the London Zoo after falling under the spell of an Aborigine. When he befriends a feisty ten-year-old, he finds a chance to redeem himself. The film was written by Simon Kelton and polished by Jim Piddock. Russell Mulcahy is looking to direct.
