Scott onboard Mermaids Singing
Dougray Scott has joined the cast of The Mermaids Singing, an adaptation of the Lisa Carey novel. He'll play an estranged father in the film, which also stars Jessica Lange, Neve Campbell and Evan Rachel Wood. Robin Swicord will write and direct.

Trio swims with Mermaids
Jessica Lange, Neve Campbell and Evan Rachel Wood have all signed to star in the adaptation of The Mermaids Singing, a novel by Lisa Carey. Robin Swicord adapted the film. The movie is set on an enchanted Irish island, and centers around three generations of women who struggle with decisions surrounding first loves that cause great change in their lives.
