Chabon to retell Snow White
Pulitzer Prize-winner Michael Chabon (The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay) will write a modern retelling of the Snow White story, Snow and the Seven, for Walt Disney Pictures. Yuen Wo Ping will direct, making it the helmer's first English language film. The story was originally known as Snow White and the Seven Shao Lin, and updates the tale with a martial arts/Chinese fantasy twist.
