Blob comes back
Paramount Pictures will once again remake the 1958 Steve McQueen camp horror classic The Blob. The story centers around a jelly-like substance that lands on Earth from outer space and grows as it tries to consume everything in its path (Katamari Damacy, anyone?).
The film was already remade once in 1988 and starred Kevin Dillon. The screenplay was co-written by Frank Darabont.
