Bryce Dallas Howard, who had her breakthrough role in M. Night Shyamalan's The Village, will star in the Warner Independent Pictures indie drama Mary Queen of Scots. The screenplay was written by Jimmy McGovern and follows the Catholic queen's rise to power.
