Ellroy stories to be adapted
Stone Village Pictures has picked up the rights to James Ellroy's recently published collection of stories. Titled Destination: Morgue! L.A. Tales, the stories encompass 14 different incidents, some fictional and some based on real-life incidents. Three novellas in the book center on a tough LAPD cop who is assigned to a case that involves a famous actress who is being stalked. Ellroy will adapt the works to a screenplay format himself.
