Star to make directorial debut
Sex in the City's Darren Star is set to make his feature film directorial debut with the romantic comedy 100 Weddings for Working Title Films. The story is based on a screenplay from Ellen Simon and Erin Cramer and centers on a cynical war reporter who is demoted to the wedding beat. She must cover 100 weddings before she can return to her old job. Naturally, along the way, she finds romance herself. Nick Hornby will be an executive producer on the film.
