Dali biopic in the works
Producer David Permut (Face/Off) has picked up the rights to the screenplay Goodbye Dali, written by Yaniv Raz and veteran actor Allan Rich. The film will be a comic examination of Rich's relationship with the Spanish painter. It looks at the actor's struggles as a young art dealer as he attempts to commission original works from the eccentric surrealist artist. The painter manages to bait the young man into following him all over Spain in an elaborate game of hide-and-seek.
