Zondag gets animated
Ralph Zondag has been hired to direct the animated film Ollie the Otter for Regency Enterprises. The movie is based on a children's book by Kelly Alan Williamson and has as its center an otter named Ollie who gets tired of doing the circus stunts that his father tells him to do. He leaves the circus and his family behind in order to explore and find new things, but soon realizes his dad wasn't such a bad guy after all.

Writer hired for Ollie
Regency Enterprises has hired Billy Frolick to write the screenplay for the CGI animated film Ollie. He co-wrote the script for Madagascar and is expected to deliver the Ollie screenplay for storyboarding soon.

Regency goes CGI
Regency has signed a deal to produce its first CGI-animated feature. It will be based on the bestselling children's book Ollie the Otter, by Kelly Alan Williamson. Variety describes the tale as "Finding Nemo in reverse." The story revolves around a brave sea otter who leads a group of fellow domesticated sea creatures to open water. Their purpose? Save Ollie's family from perishing at the hands of a vain killer whale who has gone rogue from his pod.
