Writer ready for Jack
Barbara Turner has been hired to write the screenplay for You Don't Know Jack, a biography of Dr. Jack Kevorkian. Barbara Kopple will direct the film, which looks at the life of the infamous doctor, who became well-known due to his physician-assisted suicides for patients.

Kopple to direct Kevorkian biopic
Barbara Kopple has been attached to direct a developing biopic of suicide doctor Jack Kevorkian. Rights to the film were obtained by producer Steve Jones. The movie will be based on an upcoming biography to be written by Neal Nichol and Harry Wylie.
