Fall to direct 6ixtynin9
Jim Fall (The Lizzie McGuire Movie) has been hired to direct the North American remake of the Thai comedy-thriller 6ixtynin9. The original film was both written and directed by Pen-ek Ratanaruang, and the screenplay will be adapted by John Patrick Nelson. The film, which is budgeted at $10 million, centers around a woman who is fired from a financial corporation and returns home with no money. Coincidentally enough, she finds a box with a fortune inside it in front of her door and decides to keep it. Things get complicated when the people who left it there decide they want it back.
