Seventh Art likes What Remains
Seventh Art Releasing has picked up U.S. distribution rights to the documentary What Remains of Us, which will have its U.S. premiere at October's Hollywood Film Festival. Directed by Francois Prevost and Hugo Latulippe, the film centers around a young Tibetan refugee who carries a videotaped message from the Dalai Lama to her people. As a result, she finds herself able to connect with a family she has never met. The movie was filmed from 1996 to 2004 without the knowledge of the Chinese government using small digital cameras.
