Washington has Brothers in Arms
After he finishes directing The Great Debaters, Denzel Washington is set to direct Brothers in Arms, which is based on the book Brothers in Arms: The Epic Story of the 761st Tank Battalion, WWII's Forgotten Heroes, by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Anthony Walton. The screenplay was adapted by David Chisolm and tells the story of the first all-black battalion in their first 193 days on the frontlines.
