Paramount gets writer for Sematary remake

Paramount has hired horror-writing expert Dave Kajganich to pen the screenplay for the studio's re-imagining of Pet Sematary. The film is based on the Stephen King novel that begat a movie in 1989. King wrote the script for that movie, which tells the story of a family that finds a beloved pet coming back to life, with disastrous consequences.
