Writers hired for Dax Shepard/Al Shearer project
Chris Pappas and Mike Bernier have been tapped to write the screenplay for an untitled Dax Shepard/Al Shearer project that has been set up at Fox Searchlight. The writing duo also may direct. The film is based on an idea from Shepard and Shearer, who will star in the main roles. The story centers around two guys from racially different backgrounds who discover that they are actually brothers who must compete against each other for an inheritance.
