Isis to big screen
Grammnet Productions, a Paramount-based production company headed by Kelsey Grammar, has picked up newcomer Ali Russell's pitch for Isis. The story is said to be a family adventure that combines elements of Romancing the Stone and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, revolving around a young girl who finds a bracelet that gives her the powers of Isis. The film is based on the Darren Davis comic book by the same name.
