Lachey joins The Hard Easy
Nick Lachey (Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica) has joined the cast of the independent film The Hard Easy, which already includes such actors as David Boreanaz, Henry Thomas, Bruce Dern, Vera Farmiga and Peter Weller. The story centers around two groups who attempt to rob the same store, though neither has any awareness of the other's plans. Lachey will play a character who leaves his rough neighborhood and
becomes a high-powered accountant. Fortune is unkind to him, though, and he finds himself on the verge of losing everything. To make some quick cash, he joins the burglary team led by Peter Weller's character. The movie was written by Jon Lindstrom and Tom Schanley and will be directed by Ari Ryan.

Boreanaz and friends set for Hard Easy
Ari Ryan has commenced shooting on the indie heist flick The Hard Easy, written by Jon Robert Lindstrom and Tom Schanley. Cast in starring roles are David Boreanaz, Henry Thomas, Vera Farmiga and Bruce Dern. The movie tells the story of two men who attempt to rob a jewelry store on the same day.
Boreanaz will play a Princeton graduate and unlucky, unethical stockbroker who makes an agreement to rob the store in order to recoup the losses that could put him in jail. Thomas is a gambler who is doing the same thing to pay off loan sharks. Farmiga is trying to get revenge on the gambler for her father's death, and Dern is a member of the robbery team.
