Reyes is Set-Up
Franc Reyes, who previously directed Empire, has signed on to direct the remake of the 1949 RKO boxing film The Set-Up. Empire is notable because it was the highest-grossing film to come out of the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. The original film was directed by Robert Wise and featured Robert Ryan as the over-the-hill boxer Stoker Thompson. The story centers around Thompson's efforts to get back in the ring despite protests from his wife/
