The Big Year going to big screen
DreamWorks has hired Howard Franklin to adapt the screenplay for The Big Year, which is being taken from the popular non-fiction book about competitive bird-watching. The book was written by Mark Obmascik and centers on three rival bird-watchers who brave the elements, angry wives and each other in order to win an annual bird-watching competition.
