Paramount readies How to Lose a Guy sequel
Paramount has hired Julie Durk to write the screenplay for the romantic comedy How to Tell He's Not the One in 10 Days, the sequel to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. The movie will be intended as a starring vehicle for Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, who co-starred in How to Lose a Guy. The original film made over $105 million at the domestic box office and was based on the book by Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long. The studio optioned their follow-up How to Tell He's Not the One in 10 Days (and Other Warning Signs) as a sequel project last year.

Paramount hires writer for How to Lose a Guy sequel
Paramount Pictures has set Gren Wells to write the script for the sequel to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. The early title for the film is How to Tell He's Not the One in 10 Days, and is based on a book optioned by the studio. Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long wrote both the book from which the original film was drawn and now the source material for the sequel.
