Cruz has Chromophobia
Penelope Cruz has joined the cast of Chromophobia, which was written and is being directed by Martha Fiennes. Set in contemporary London, the psychological drama examines the dilemmas of modern-day life in London, particularly the juxtaposition of such old-time values as honesty and loyalty with more modern stuff like success and popularity. Embracing such a lifestyle leads a bourgeois family to fall apart.
Cruz will star alongside a number of notable British performers, including the director's brother Ralph Fiennes, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rhys Ifans, Ian Holm, Ben Chaplin, Damian Lewis and Harriet Walters. The film is budgeted at $10 million.
