Fox to remake Vanishing Point
20th Century Fox and Tony Scott’s Scott Free Entertainment are redoing the 1971 road-trip film Vanishing Point, a story that centered around a individualist’s wager that he could drive from Denver to San Francisco in only 15 hours in his supercharged 1970 Dodge Challenge. Video/commercials director Samuel Bayer (Smells Like Teen Spirit) is onboard to direct from a screenplay by Paul Bernbaum.
