The Munsters are back
Universal Pictures has set up a deal with Keenen Ivory, Shawn and Marlon Wayans to write and produce an updated take on The Munsters for the big screen. According to Variety, they have no plans to star in the film, but are looking to offer a modern setting for the theatrical version of the ‘60s television series. The original show starred Fred Gwynne in an ongoing story about a suburban family that looks an awful lot like various monsters from movies of the 1930s. Somehow, they just can’t understand why they always frighten their friends and neighbors.
