McDermott gets a Hong Kong Heist
Twentieth Century Fox has hired Dan McDermott to write the screenplay for Hong Kong Heist, which will center around rival gangs who are drafted by a triad leader to steal three rare gems. McDermott has previously written for television shows like In Living Color, The Simpsons, Spin City and Freaks and Geeks. He's also sold three other screenplays to various studios. The scripter is the former president of DreamWorks TV.
