Singleton likes Cabot
Writer/producer Joan Singleton has picked up the film rights to two novels by Meg Cabot - Teen Idol and Every Boy's Got One. The writer plans to adapt both for the big screen, co-producing with her husband Ralph Singleton. Every Boy's Got One revolves around a cartoonist named Jane Harris. Her best friend is eloping to Italy with her boyfriend, and asks Jane to be the bridesmaid. Jane agrees with the intent of butting heads with the best man. They're forced to put their differences aside, though, when the wedding plans encounter an unexpected mishap.
