Singleton likes Cabot
Writer/producer Joan Singleton has picked up the film rights to two novels by Meg Cabot - Teen Idol and Every Boy's Got One. The writer plans to adapt both for the big screen, co-producing with her husband Ralph Singleton. Teen Idol tells Jenny Greenley's story. She's the newspaper advice columnist at her high school newspaper and is innately talented at solving the problems of others. That all changes when 19-year-old movie star Luke Striker arrives in her small town to research a role.
