Schwentke goes on a Train
Robert Schwentke, the German director who helmed FlightPlan for Disney, has signed on to direct Runaway Train for 20th Century Fox. The movie will center on the efforts by a rail company to stop an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train with enough combustible liquids and noxious gas to decimate an entire nearby city. The movie is inspired by real-life events that occurred a few years back and has a screenplay from Mark Bomback (Constantine).
