Murro to direct Psychotic project
DreamWorks has hired commercials director Noam Murro for his feature film debut on All Families Are Psychotic, an adaptation of the Douglas Coupland novel. Mark Poirier is set to adapt. The deal between the two comes after Murro left the studio's Ring 2 due to creative differences.
The novel centers around the reunion of an extraordinarily dysfunctional family, who gather in Florida to see the group's only productive family member, an astronaut, set off for space.
