Intermedia kisses Frog
Intermedia has optioned Bret Easton Ellis' screenplay The Frog King, which he adapted from the Adam Davies novel of the same name. The book was published in 2002 and was the author's first novel. It centers around an peon with an Ivy League education who is leading a decidedly non-glamorous life as he slaves away at a New York publishing house. The only bright spot in his life is his girlfriend, whom he somehow manages to lose, sending him on a quest to win her back. Asif Kapadia is in negotiations to direct the film.
