Paramount plays Killer's Game
Paramount Pictures is in final negotiations with Intermedia to pick up The Killer's Game, a thriller set amongst expert assassins. Though no director is attached, John Woo, Alex Proyas, Renny Harlin and Wolfgang Petersen have previously shown interest. The story revolves around an assassin who decides to go out memorably, taking out a contract on himself. When he decides he'd rather stay alive after all, he is forced to match wits with a number of hired hit men. The movie is based on a screenplay from Rand Ravich, which he adapted from the Jay Bonansinga novel of the same name. Simon Kinberg handled the most recent rewrite.
