New Line goes for a Retreat
New Line has hired writer/director James Dodson to head up the comedy The Retreat, which tells the story of an executive who goes to his first company retreat on only his second day at a new job. Once there, he discovers that he is being sabotaged by an angry employee who had hoped to get that position for himself. Matters only get worse as the protagonist is forced to compete for his job by leading a motley group of co-workers in a contest of paintball. The screenplay was initially written by David Dorfman, but producers Jon Berg and Todd Komarnicki are looking for scribes to rewrite.
