Warner Bros. follows Market Forces
Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to the Robert Morgan book Market Forces for Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi to adapt. The novel is set in the near future and is, if possible, an even bleaker Wall Street, where companies and investment firms are pulling the strings of third world countries as well as creating and disposing of tyrants and dictators. Anyone who is hoping for a promotion in one of these companies must compete in a road race to the death. The hero of the story rises from poverty to privelege via such promotions, but begins to question the means by which he got there.
