Gary Fleder has Fear of Heights
Gary Fleder, who previously directed Runaway Jury, is in talks to direct a film based on an adaptation of Susan Eisenberg's We'll Call You If We Need You: Experiences of Women Working Construction. The script will be written by Laura Harrington, and it tells the story of a working-class single mother who becomes the first female ever to join the Ironworkers Union. She undergoes intense problems with sexism and disrespect before finally winning the confidence of her male co-workers. She also falls in love along the way.
