Ireland goes to the Claremont
Dan Ireland has signed on to direct the dramedy Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont for Cineville and Picture Entertainment. The screenplay was adapted by Ruth Sacks from a novel by British author Elizabeth Taylor. The story revolves around an elderly woman whose family convinces her to move to a London retirement hotel. When she ends up going several weeks without a visit from any of them, she encounters a struggling young author who becomes her good friend as they conspire to act as grandmother and grandson.
