Dannelly is Guided Man
Brian Dannelly, director of Saved!, has signed on to direct the romantic comedy The Guided Man, a modern-day Cyrano de Bergerac. Based on a story by L. Sprague de Camp and a screenplay by Steve Adams, the story centers around an introvert who is asked to give the best-man toast at his childhood friend's huge wedding. The man is terrified at the prospect and turns to a new service that allows a romance expert to see, hear, feel and speak through him. Naturally, because this service makes the man so confident around both powerful men and unattainable women, he is able to turn his life around completely. The complication? He falls in love with the charming woman who is doing the speaking for him.
The movie is set to start production in 2005. Dannelly and his writing partner Michael Urban
