Dimension remaking My Bodyguard

Dimension Films has acquired rights to the 1980 flick My Bodyguard, which starred Adam Baldwin and Matt Dillon in a story about a kid who hires a big, muscular classmate to "handle" the bullies who are making him miserable. Tuck Everlasting's Jeffrey Lieber has been assigned script-writing duties.
