Here! Films acquires Straight-Jacket
Here! Films has picked up worldwide distribution rights to the SRO Films comedy Straight-Jacket, written and directed by Richard Day, who made his feature film debut in 2003 with Girls Will Be Girls. The movie takes place in 1950s Hollywood and tells the story of a movie star who marries a secretary in order to conceal his homosexuality. The trick is that he doesn't let her in on the secret. The film is based on an Off-Broadway play that appeared on the scene in 2000. Featured cast members include Matt Letscher, Carrie Preston, Veronica Cartwright, Adam Greer, Jack Plotnick and Michael Emerson.
