S.W.A.T. director to helm Killing Floor
Clark Johnson, most recently seen behind the camera of S.W.A.T., has signed on to direct Killing Floor for New Line Cinema. Based on a novel by Lee Child, the thriller was adapted by Catwoman scribe John Rogers. Planned as a potential franchise, the story centers around an ex-military policeman named Jack Reacher. Over the course of an eight-book series, he drifts from city to city, solving crimes as he goes. In Killing Floor, Reacher discovers corruption and scandal in a proper Southern community.
