Paramount gets Patridge scribes
Parmount Pictures has selected a writing team for their adaptation of the '70s TV show The Patridge Family. Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow, who wrote Garfield and Cheaper by the Dozen for 20th Century Fox, are charged with the task of bringing the musically-oriented family into the 21st century. The creator of the original series, Bernard Slade, is executive producing the film.
