The glass is Fifty Percent Full for Warner Independent Pictures.
The Warner Bros. indie arm, Warner Independent Pictures, has signed screenwriter Darin Mark to create a dark comedy. The plot involves a trio of waitresses and gold diggers in training. The woman plot to to fund a tropical island existence by marrying and divorcing a series of wealthy men. Events don't unfold as expected when five years later, one woman is ready to cash in but the other two are less certain their plan is well conceived. The titular designation involves divorce law giving the wife the rights to half of her husband's fortune.
