Warner Bros. picks up The Bill.
Warner Bros. has given the greenlight to a Bob Nelson script adaptation of the upcoming Bernard Cooper book The Bill From My Father. Originally included in an L.A. Magazine feature, the story involves Cooper's quirky relationship with his Dad. The man presented his son with a bill for the entire cost of his upbringing right after Cooper quit his promising career. The story examines the expectations parents have for their offspring while also showing how much children take for granted from their mothers and fathers.
