Chan's Myth back on track
Jackie Chan and the producers/creators of his currently-in-progress film The Myth have cleared the hurdle that had been thrown before them in completing the movie. Earlier this week, the Karnataka Archeological Survey blocked production of the film despite the fact that permission had been granted by the Archaeological Survey of India. That block has now been removed and shooting can continue.

Jackie Chan slows down
Jackie Chan's currently filming The Myth was put on hold due to a disagreement about filming in the historical town of Hampi in India's southern Karnataka state. India's Directorate of Archaeology and Museums said that cranes and sets must be removed from the grounds of the 15th-century Virupaksha temple at Hampi. Apparently, the production had not sought permission to film there. Director Stanley Tong said that permission was granted by the Archaeological Survey of India and the Hampi World Heritage Site; however, the directorate says the area is under its jurisdiction. Shooting on the film had been scheduled to wrap on Thursday.
