First Independent picks up film rights
First Independent Pictures has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Bob the Butler, directed by Gary Sinyor and starring Tom Green and Brooke Shields. The movie was written by Steven Manners and Jane Walker Wood and centers around an accident-prone man who is unable to hold down a job. After enrolling in butler school to try to help change his klutzy ways, he is assigned to the home of a single mother. Naturally, catastrophe ensues.
